CHIEF BUSINESS OFFICER (CBO) 


The Chief Business Officer will be a major contributor to the strategic development and shaping of the success of Nelcos/Bodaq Distribution. They will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive all business aspects of the further evolution of the company. Specifically, the CBO will be responsible for all operational aspects of the company, including human resources development activities, strategic planning, budget development, and control.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the CEO and the team to define the corporate vision and strategy to support long-term growth.
  • Build the corporate structure of our growing business (including HR, IT, compliance, and finance) and develop the company culture with the CEO.
  • Design an executive business roadmap of potential business opportunities.
  • Develop and control the annual budget.
  • Take a leadership role in human resources activities like hiring, training, paying, and developing employees.
  • Recommend adjustments to increase operational efficiency and profitability, such as raising sales or lowering expenses.
  • Monitor competitive intelligence by keeping up to date on market trends, competitors, and opportunities.
  • Ensuring all laws and regulations, especially those concerning labor, the environment, and taxes, are followed.

Requirements:

  • Management background.
  • Experience in HR and/or project management.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER  


The Business Development Manager will be responsible for building a dealer and partner network in Canada and the USA to provide the architectural vinyl film to as many businesses as possible. There is an advancement opportunity to the position of Sales Director based on performance. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated, result-driven, personable, resourceful individual with a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with dealers and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact potential dealers and partners to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Build distributorship and dealerships across Canada and the USA.
  • Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increase the value of current dealers while attracting new ones.
  • Find and develop new areas and improve sales.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Develop goals and objectives for the sales team and business growth, and ensure they are met.
  • Train new representatives and help them develop their skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales, marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience in building a dealer network and making the network work.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in necessary apps and technologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Experience in commercial interior renovation or interior finish projects.
